Program Objective

To support the development and testing of innovative programs, services and systems of support that respond to the needs of the nation’s growing elderly population and those individuals in need of long term services and supports (LTSS), to improve knowledge of the problems and needs of the elderly, to help ensure adequately trained personnel in the field of aging, and to demonstrate better ways of improving the quality of life for the elderly, their caregivers and people with disabilities.
